"MATERNAL HEALTH ACROSS TWO CONTINENTS:
WHAT CAN WE LEARN FROM EACH OTHER?

MEDICINE AND ESPECIALLY OBSTETRICS HAS REVEALED JUST HOW SIMILAR ALL OF US WHO OCCUPY THIS SMALL PLANET ACTUALLY ARE. WE ALL HAVE SO MUCH MORE IN COMMON THAN THAT WHICH DIVIDES US. CORRESPONDINGLY, MANY OF THE CURRENT CHALLENGES FACING HEALTH CARE DELIVERY IN AUSTRALIA HAVE ALREADY BEEN FELT BY OUR AMERICAN COLLEAGUES. BY EXAMINING INTERVENTIONS THAT AMERICAN CENTRES HAVE UNDERTAKEN, WE CAN IMPROVE HEALTH OUTCOMES IN AUSTRALIA AND BEYOND.

LUNCH PROVIDED FOR FIRST 30 PARTICIPANTS
