The Kansas Action Coalition announces a new virtual center for cultural competency learning is available. The Kansas Center for Cultural Competency Advancement (KCCCA) is available at http://www.kccca.org
The center was created to be a hub for nurses invested in cultural competency, diversity, inclusion, and health equity. The center will provide current and relevant resources for implementing culturally competent nursing care and addressing issues that impact the provision of care to individuals, families, and communities in Kansas.
There are resources for nurses, nurse faculty, nursing students, and organizations to support quality nursing care across the state. A community space for discussions around important topics related to diversity, inclusion, health disparities, and equity is an additional feature.
