New Webinar Live

Greetings from the KCCCA! We hosted a learning session last week that focused on critical reflection, implicit bias, and microagressions. If you were unable to attend but want to learn more, click below to access the recording!

Shorter Session Clips Available

We also have some shorter clips from the session that you can access below, if you only have five minutes or so. Learn about models for critical reflection and check out the second if you're looking for a guide for assessing communities.

Pop-Up Sessions

We are going to have a couple of pop-ups – informal times you can jump on a quick Zoom session to talk about topics related to cultural competency. These are really informal, but great opportunities to connect with others across the state. We will send out dates and times once we have those finalized. The link to the popups is https://zoom.us/j/4565669821 and the ID is 456-566-9821.

Help Us Improve!

We will be sending out a short survey to evaluate our current network; we did this last September and think it is time to update our maps! The survey will also include some questions to find out what people might be interested in, such as more structured webinars that offer CEs. Keep an eye out for the survey link.

Next Learning Session: March

Our next learning session is March 14 from 12:00noon to 1:00pm. The topic is embedding cultural competency across educational and training programs. We are planning to have some small break-out sessions to share with one another what we have done to integrate cultural competency, what challenges we had, and what has worked well. Please attend as a participant or if you want to just listen in!
Looking forward to connecting with you in March!
