JayDoc Night
Monday, February 18th
Students from the KUMC SNMA Chapter will spend the evening volunteering at the JayDoc Free Clinic, treating and serving the underserved and uninsured.

Rock the Boards

Join us as a panel of 3rd and 4th year medical students share their experience preparing for their USMLE STEP board exam. Come gain insight on what worked for others, what to avoid, how to track your progress, and what to expect on test day.

Rock the Wards

Come join us as Dr. Abebe, Dr. Opole, Dr. Petersen, and 4th year medical students share tips and give advice on best practices when making the transition to clinical practice. Come learn how you can perform best during clerkships!

ENT Night
Thursday, February 21st | 5-7pm ENT Clinic
Become an ENT surgeon in-training for the evening. Learn proper scoping techniques, practice facial fracture plating on model skulls, and test your steady hands with delicate mock ear procedures. Dinner will be served to all guests in attendance. Be on the look-out for a sign-up sheet in your email.

American Eugenics

Presenter Nicolas Johnson will speak about his research through the KUMC Clendening Summer Fellowship titled: "Exploring the Intersection of Race, Religion, and Gender in Black Women with Infertility" , highlighting the American Eugenics Movement and it's impact on modern day reproductive health disparities and perceptions on healthcare.
